A very beautiful monastery complex. You'll need to take your time for the tour and the museum visit, or come back at the end of your hike. If you arrive via the rear access path, please don't forget to pay the entrance fee. There's now a box at the rear entrance where you can deposit the 5 euros—either it's new or I didn't notice it last time. The entrance fee is needed to maintain the complex.

A very contemplative place where Saint Hildegard of Bingen worked!

The K2 tour actually goes through the Trübenbach valley, but there is a diversion due to fallen trees, but that didn't stop us. A nice stretch of the path would have been missing.

The 13.5 km long vitality tour 3-Burgen-Weg leads from the Kyrburg in the Kirner Nahetal to the Steinkallenfels and Wartenstein castles in the Hahnenbach gorge. The two castles are located on impressive rock walls (quartzite corridors) that stretch across the valley. Another destination are the free-standing, up to 30 m high quartzite rocks of the Kirner Dolomites, which protrude above the treetops above the Hahnenbachtal in several places.
