The Kandel is a pleasure both at sunrise and sunset. On the one hand, on a clear day, the view can extend as far as the Alps, to the west there is a wonderful panoramic view from the village of Waldkirch, located at the foot of the Kandel, over the Kaiserstuhl to France. Anyone who is up here by gravel or MTB should, starting from the parking lot, definitely also take the detour to the candelabra pyramid.
