One of the best trail sections in the Oldenburg region. It's a hell of a lot of fun. Concentration is required.

The pump track opened in September 2023. Along with an artificial turf soccer field, a tartan playing field for handball, basketball, and soccer, as well as a football field with a goal wall, a skate park, a calisthenics facility, a running track, a boules court, a lawn for free play, and a toboggan hill.

The three of us completed this part yesterday on gravel bikes, although mine still has almost no tread. It's a demanding route, but it can definitely be ridden on gravel bikes even in bad weather like yesterday. In dry weather, this can even be done with normal touring bikes if necessary. But you should have some driving skills.

The new Kreyenbrück sports park opened with a big games and sports festival on Saturday, September 23rd. Numerous visitors had the opportunity to test and use the various facilities: for example, playing basketball with the Baskets4Life e.V. club. V. or on the pump track with the BMX-AG from IGS Kreyenbrück. Acrobatics and dance performances provided good entertainment in addition to the hands-on activities. Mayor Jürgen Krogmann gave the starting signal for sports and games. “On 13,500 square meters, the south of the city now has a paradise for recreational athletes – for all age groups and numerous interests. “We have the largest connected sports facility in the entire city,” said Krogmann, and thanked everyone involved for the realization of the sports park. Skate park ready from the end of October In addition to the artificial turf pitch, a tartan playing field for handball, basketball and football as well as a football field with a goal wall are now available. There is a pump track, a calisthenics facility, outdoor fitness equipment and a boules area. The whole thing is completed by a meadow for free play and even a toboggan hill. The new concrete skate park on around 1,600 square meters has not yet been approved and is expected to be completed at the end of October, provided the weather permits the concrete work. What is also still missing is a long-term solution for public toilets. These will be integrated into the new changing room building, which is scheduled to be built in 2025. A temporary solution with mobile toilet facilities is currently being set up. To clean the sports facilities, rubbish is collected and waste containers emptied three times a week (instead of the usual once) during the months of most frequent use. Small but fine trail in the otherwise not so terribly demanding Ammerland.

To contradict the previous speaker, the route can even be ridden in December with luggage on a gravel bike if you have some driving skills. Not necessarily easy but it works!

Pretty awesome, really only for mountain biking. Looks like whole houses have been tipped in the way: bricks, tiles and roof tiles, everything is included.
