Nice narrow trail, unfortunately you have to push sometimes.

Nice trail technique course to practice on. You can also see the volcanic rock again and again. Unfortunately the lines/course are not maintained. Some lines are completely overgrown and/or there are branches and stones in the way. There is wild growth here and there on the pump track. 1 of the 3 upper entrances is completely overgrown. A pity.

At the weekend it is better to avoid a lot of hikers here. The path is also very narrow and, as described, you go vertically a few meters down on one side.

The entrance can be overlooked and initially it doesn't roll that well (at least in damp and wet conditions), but after the right-hand bend it starts really well, partly rooted, partly through a meadow, always flowing and without difficulties. I've always ridden the trail with the hardtail, no problem!

Looks cooler than it is. Neither flowing nor fun 😕

There is now a tree on the trail, which means that you have to carry your bike from the direction of Daun at the end of the trail. Otherwise it is a nice flat trail which is preferable to the country road. The tree has now been cleared and the trail is 100% passable.

Intersects with the older MTB highlight "Lieserpfad". Scenic really great, an extraordinary route. Partly the way is so narrow that one has to decide: concentrate drive OR stop / push and look at the area. Definitely an experience!
