A real highlight for mountain bikers in the Franconian Forest. Due to the low gradient, the trail can also be ridden uphill without any problems. The time required for the almost 10km total route should not be underestimated because of the sections that are prepared in places by forestry machines and the frequent crossings of the stream over sometimes dilapidated bridges with steps. In between there is the beer fountain for refueling 🍺.

The MC Lehesten race and training track is a natural circuit with a total length of 1,900 meters. It is located in the Thomas Müntzer settlement at Oertelsbruch.

Beautiful valley ideal for mountain biking, especially the many river crossings, have fun 🚵‍♂️👍😏

The ride in the Kremnitztalgrund from the Dobertal junction to the Finkenmühle is an absolute must for all mountain bikers. A footbridge is available as an alternative for most stream crossings. However, in damp conditions in the transitional season or when water levels are high, it may be advisable to choose the alternative route, which runs parallel in the forest and is halfway up the slope.

Definitely visit Kremnitztal, beautiful with the MTB through river crossings (alternatively bridges) through a wild and romantic valley.

Up / down from Steinberg to Trebesberg. Recommended only for MTB or EMTBs. Otherwise push - also downhill

Nice downhill trail starting from the Altvaterturm, which is really fun 👌🏻 But this is quite steep and probably less suitable for a family outing. On the uphill it can be exhausting due to the gradient! Beware of hikers!
