Simply beautiful

Very beautiful Alpine panorama. Nice for walking, but you shouldn't cross the moor; just walk around it on the designated paths.

A dreamy moor landscape

In front of you the great view of the Alps. Wendelstein and Wallberg are clearly visible. Behind you the great Dietramszeller forest. Old mixed forest with beech, oak and spruce. But the real highlight is the beer garden of Kloster Reutberg 😃. If you have swum in the Kirchsee beforehand, the beer tastes particularly good...

The Ellbachmoor and Kirchseemoor have been under nature protection since 1940. Here you can see cotton grass, maybe also a carnivorous morning dew and many species of insects and reptiles only found in bogs. But please don't leave the path.
