The sour spring lives up to its name! It is definitely healthy, but not for everyone.

5/26/24: Unfortunately the spring is closed; the tap has been removed. The same goes for the Johannisquelle nearby. Tip: Sauerbrunnen in nearby Rückershausen. Tastes delicious!

At the former “Grube Rosit” you can see huge piles of slate rubble. Today they provide a habitat for heat-loving plants and animals.

A beautiful border, which was, however, under water during our visit on May 23, 2024.
