Neglected for years. Tried again on April 4th, 2025. Gave up and pushed the bike back up 50 meters of elevation gain. Impassable, even with a regular bike. No way. Such a shame... who can be contacted to do something about it? According to the municipality, it's privately owned.

Before you plunge into the valley on this great trail, it is worth taking a short break at the hut. From there you have a great view of the Arnstein Monastery. The trail is varied with some narrow, steep turns. The last 50 meters are tough, so pushing was the order of the day for me.

A nice trail with some tight turns. Technically a bit more demanding. With the E MTB also hochzus a highlight for me because you have to circle around the hairpin bends here. It is always a challenge not to have to take your feet off the pedals. Especially the last two hairpin bends.

I would be interested in how you see the air pressure of approx. 2.0 bar after the trail, en route, gets back to 3 or more.

The biggest tip of mine, such trails that were built in laborious work, are not always present to the large amount on the Internet. I have the feeling that even the older generation wants to catch up on things that they may have missed when they were young and want to draw attention to themselves with the posts, but forget that the opposite happens with such actions. Because of this, whole trails had to be dismantled in the Westerwald, because the mass of people just got too big. Thus, this not only harmed the trail builders but also those who liked to drive there and have uploaded the whole digital onto the net. Just think about your actions before you put such things on the net. That would be a request and an appeal. thank you
