The natural monument Steinerner Tisch was built in 1797 by the Electorate of Mainz as a resting and gathering place for hunts.

In the past, people have gathered at the Stone Table at the Hoppe Hut during hunting

Worth seeing..lasted a long time

I quote the text on the wooden sign :-) "Natural monument stone table - built in 1797 by Kurmainz as a resting and gathering place for hunts, with an unobstructed view of the castle and Neckar valley at that time. The lower resting place was created in 1851. At this point is said to have been a court in earlier times. In my opinion it is definitely worth a detour and you can still use the benches and tables for a rest today :-)

The "stone table" was built in the middle of the 19th century. The hut behind it was added a few years later as the "forest ranger's house".
