Old excavator shovel from the quarry pond & an information board behind it. The area is a nature conservation area & it is forbidden to leave the paths except at two marked bathing areas. You can still see trails leading to the water everywhere.

In principle, all parking spaces around the lake are free. In the summer, the fishing club sometimes sits in the parking spaces and charges €2. Perfectly fine, after all you are taking care of the area.

In contrast to the other lakes, there is plenty of seating for leisurely breaks.

Beautiful circular route around the lake and can be easily connected to Lake Hainer via the Pleiße cycle path. Unfortunately, the Pleiße cycle path is currently closed on this section, as the new Moveon energy park is being built on the cycle path.
