Located in the middle of the forest on the cycling and hiking trails, accessible from a large hiking car park, are the (three) forest ponds... Numerous shelters and benches invite you to rest and have a picnic

This is not a waterfall, but the weir of the barrage for the monastery's mill canal. The weather gets loud here.

Three ponds mostly in the forest 🌳 with lots of tables and benches. It's always a good idea to take a break here. The ponds are easily accessible from Hungen, Langsdorf and Villingen via paved paths.

A worthwhile destination for a bike ride on paved forest paths... There are some nice places with benches and tables for resting and picnicking

Remote, paved (solid gravel paths) around the ponds and in the adjacent forest area invite you to take long bike tours and hikes. Since vehicle traffic, apart from bicycles, is prohibited around the ponds, you can enjoy the paths in a relaxed manner......👍🤗 🚲Greetings from Wetterau… Simone&Michael
