The trail at Schalsberg is quite rooty at first, but after that, it's rather boring. Some tracks churned up by wild boars are more enjoyable.

Riding on a forest road is of course more comfortable, but the trail here is great fun to ride.

Nice trail. Can also be done with a gravel bike. A bit overgrown at the beginning, but then it gets better.

Good and long trail...be careful when it's wet! Lots of leaves and in one part a forester has laid thick branches on the trail...

A very nice path below the Biemerberg. Up the slope you can see a number of larger and smaller rock formations - especially good when the trees are not yet in full leaf.

Status 2023: apart from a windbreak in a creek valley from Maibach down into the valley, everything is free of windbreaks. Here several fallen trees. Lift the bike over it once, the rest can be driven under
