A coast redwood grows at a fork in the road to the south. To the left of it, towards the animal shelter, are 2 more coastal sequoias and 8 giant sequoias. 3 Chinese primeval sequoia trees in the Asian part.

The footbridge was built to protect nature, so people stay on this path and don't trample across country.

There are said to be 600 tree species here, including North American sequoias.
