Lake Robern is an idyllic, artificial lake in the upper Seebach valley near Robern, a district of the municipality of Fahrenbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district. It was dammed in 1966 and is located in a nature reserve known for its diverse flora and fauna. The lake is approximately 150 meters long and 100 meters wide, providing a beautiful setting for hiking and relaxation.

Take a circular hike around Lake Robern – the trail is flat, about 3km long, and offers beautiful scenery and plenty of birdwatching opportunities. It's ideal for a relaxing break or a family outing.

The Kandelschussbrunnen fountain is a modern fountain fed by the Kandelbach stream, symbolizing its historical significance. Originally, the Kandelbach stream flowed above ground through the city and powered several mills. After its canalization in the 1930s, the stream was partially made visible again during the renovation of the old town. The fountain commemorates the original watercourse and creates a pleasant ambiance in the alleys of the old town.

The Kandelbach stream, fed by two springs, shot into a trough near this spot at high speed, which led to the name Kandelschuss.

This fountain can be found on the Neckarsteig at the beginning of the old town. However, it was turned off in winter.
