The valley path in the Schandtaubertal is accessible again

The Tauber flows through the idyllic Tauber Valley. The banks of the Tauber are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it an ideal place for nature lovers.

The Tauber is an idyllic, small river that rises near Weikersholz and flows into the Main near Wertheim after about 130 km. It accompanies cyclists almost the entire "Liebliches Taubertal" cycle path between Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Wertheim and invites you to take a break at many beautiful places.

The valley path in the Schandtaubertal from Bettenfeld to Rothenburg to Hammerschmiede is not passable due to many fallen trees and very bad paths

In the large hunting and knights' hall, several animal sculptures protrude from the wall. The elephant with its slightly frightened look and striking proportions is particularly striking, although the artist modelled the elephant purely on descriptions.

Beautiful, natural valley, just the right place to unwind.
