In the large hunting and knights' hall, several animal sculptures protrude from the wall. The elephant with its slightly frightened look and striking proportions is particularly striking, although the artist modelled the elephant purely on descriptions.

The Tauber is an idyllic, small river that rises near Weikersholz and flows into the Main near Wertheim after about 130 km. Almost the entire way through the romantic Tauber Valley, there are many beautiful places to take a break.

It all sounds very interesting and encourages hiking. Thank you for that! Just be careful: the hike is in a protected area!
