The Ursee near Königsberg in Bavaria is a real insider tip for anyone looking for relaxation and nature. With an area of around 8 square kilometers, it is smaller than other lakes in the region, but it offers all the more peace and seclusion. Here you can hike, fish, swim or just stroll along the shore and enjoy the beautiful scenery. And if you're hungry or thirsty, there's a visit to the nearby Urseehaus, a historic inn overlooking the lake.

The new observation tower offers a beautiful view of the Main Valley and the edge of the Steigerwald. The new tower should have been built a few meters higher so that the view is not restricted by the trees. A few more years and you'll sooner be able to admire the treetops 🙄
