For me, this is the section with the most fun factor. Technique is required, as today, at least when everything is wet and slippery, the occasional rock becomes a slippery ride. Alternatively, you can bypass the section.

One section of my tour that I particularly enjoyed was the trail from Herrnster Brunnen towards Hasloch. This section took us along a lovely little path directly through the forest, with the Main River always nearby. I think these types of natural trails make hiking particularly appealing. A lovely stretch for anyone who enjoys getting off the beaten track!

Such places invite us to pause, take a deep breath and appreciate the beauty of the world around us.
