Species and biotope protection reserve. In spring you can see many birds. In 2022 the water level was higher than it used to be, so the path is no longer passable by bike and which should not be done because of the nesting birds.

Perfect for the break in between! There are enough seats and there is free shade when you are out and about on hot summer days ;-)

The tower hill Diemannskirchen is a medieval tower hill castle (Motte) about 700 meters southwest of the Catholic church St. Margaretha von Diemannskirchen and districts of the municipality Geisenhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut in Bavaria. No historical or archaeological information is known about this castle, it is roughly dated to be medieval. From the complex on the edge of a steep slope to the Little Vils Valley, only a castle hill and a trench have survived. The castle site is protected as a ground monument "Medieval Tower Hill".
