Nagelfluhwand at Teufelssteg (excerpt from the Bavarian Environmental Atlas) At the Isarleite in Landshut are the northern full gravel (Upper Freshwater Molasse). These are deposits from Miocene river systems. Due to lime precipitation near the edge of the valley, the calcareous gravel is cemented into Nagelfluh walls.
