클로스터메르쉬에 있는 아주 작은 전망대입니다. 몇 개의 계단만 오르면 전망대에 서서 앞쪽의 작은 들판을 관찰할 수 있습니다. 하지만 짧은 휴식을 취하기에는 좋은 장소라고 생각합니다.

Also on the Schelhasseweg you will find a lookout tower that can only be reached by stairs. In order to create better observation opportunities, especially for water birds, a large still body of water with an island was created as part of the project.

The Hovestadt moated castle is a real eye-catcher and is privately owned. The castle garden with outbuildings and the outdoor facilities up to the idyllic moat are freely accessible. The clinker facade with its numerous ornaments is particularly striking. This can best be admired from the back of the palace complex.

Very interesting is the high-pressure line along the way. Nature and industry come together here. The paths are narrow and are nicely shaded.

There are many lookout towers along the Lippe. Small information boards provide an overview of flora and fauna.

It's simply wonderful to experience the Lippe River up close and cycle right along it. The landscape is largely unspoiled, and you can observe numerous birds.

Hovestadt Castle goes back to a knight's seat that was later expanded as a castle. The current facility was built as a moated castle at the end of the 16th century. In the 18th century, Johann Conrad Schlaun added baroque elements to the outer bailey in particular. The entire complex of castle, bailey and park is surrounded by a moat, which also includes a pond. Tip: Be sure to also take a look at the castle from the north. Here you can marvel at the very interesting decorations on the brick facade.
