The Korbinian linden tree was an important tree in Freising that was closely linked to the veneration of Saint Korbinian. Visitors can view the remains of the chapel and experience the spring attributed to the saint. The Korbinian linden tree itself no longer exists, but its history lives on in the stories and veneration of Saint Korbinian in Freising. The place remains an important testimony to the religious and cultural history of the city.
