With the racing bike in the direction of Preitenegg or on the Hebalm.

You could also turn right with the MB in the direction of Barbarahaus or Knödelhütte for a snack. The upper route is gravel.

Unfortunately, it is a popular motorcycle route at the wrong time... My favorite ascent to this wonderful pass is from Maria Lankowitz via the old Almhaus (also with the racing bike)

Am up from Kleinlobming. Nice climbs. Was accompanied uphill by a swarm of flies, not much was missing and I would have turned around 😁

Ascent from Köflach: Never very steep and pleasantly even, very shady.

The Pack... notorious as a motorcycle route, but also a very nice pass for cyclists. There are quite a few alternatives to the main road...
