The Roatmoaralm is an ideal starting point for mountain bikers. Direct connections to various mountain bike routes allow you to take unforgettable tours through the region. The special atmosphere is underlined by the seven ancient maple trees, which are designated as natural monuments. And if you are looking for peace and quiet, you can simply relax on the alpine meadows or on a walk through the adjacent forest, where you can pick berries and mushrooms. Quite easy to reach on foot.

Very large parking lot! Asphalted mountain road from Maria Lankowitz to just below the Almhaus. Only the last kilometer is a forest path with loose ground. Address: Kemetberg 60 8591 Maria Lankowitz

Be careful: If you want to continue on to the Bernstein Hut, the markings are unclear! The yellow ÖAV sign points to the right, onto a meadow path, but you're tempted to continue along the forest road (also on the right). The path across the meadow on the far right is the correct one!

Always well attended when the weather is nice

The Gleinalmschutzhaus is located on the Gleinalmsattel in the middle of mountains. You can also spend the night at the Gleinalm refuge to start a hike or something else the next morning. Cycling is not allowed to this shelter, but once a year there is a mountain mass in the adjacent Gleinalm church, where you can and may ride to the shelter. This is also used by many who like to ride a bike. The service is fast and friendly, the food is delicious and you can enjoy your time spent up here. From here you can also start many hikes.
