According to legend, the two boulders on the Mühlberg are moving towards each other. Madonna in a rock niche since 1917. Just next to the stone, an approx. 38m deep well was built in ancient times.

“Zeissberg-Rundweg” no longer exists in this form in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis.

Farmers used to be able to drive their wagons between the stones. But the stone on the right slowly moves towards the stone on the left and so today there is only a narrow footpath. According to legend, when the two stones finally touch, the world ends.
