Another great spot at Weissensee that you can enjoy

The small reservoir at the Nassfeld pass is beautiful, but unfortunately overrun by camper vans and motorcyclists on weekends.

The Weissensee - the perfect stop on a relaxed bike ride. The turquoise water sparkles in the sun, and if you sit down on the bench on the shore for a moment, you can really stretch your legs. The clear, fresh air and the view of the surrounding mountains make it difficult to get back on the bike. A cold drink on the lakeshore is almost a must here - especially if you take off your helmet for a break. On hot summer days, the atmosphere at the lake is lively, but still pleasantly quiet. Sometimes I hear a quiet rippling as the wind blows through the trees. A real treat for every cyclist! There are also small beach areas with deck chairs that practically invite you to dip your feet in the cool water. Whether you have just finished a long tour or are heading for the Weissensee - this place offers a welcome refreshment. And if you haven't had enough, you can continue cycling along the lake and enjoy the wonderful view. Make yourself comfortable, take your time and let nature work its magic on you.

The path winds along the ridge and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountain landscape. A certain level of sure-footedness is required, especially on the narrow passages, some of which are secured with wire ropes. The mixture of rugged rocks and lush alpine meadows is what makes this route so appealing. What makes the path special is the balance between adventure and accessibility: our children, who are not normally the biggest hiking fans, had a lot of fun here! The small obstacles such as ladders and narrow paths in particular bring a bit of adventure without being overwhelming. Be sure to pack sturdy shoes and take enough breaks to enjoy the magnificent view of the green meadows and mountain ranges. If you're lucky, you can even see the bright blue of a small mountain lake - a lovely place for a rest.

A small man-made lake right next to the border with a road and hiking trail around it. A beautiful place for taking photos, sitting and relaxing, and in winter for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

The gorge is really beautiful and the best thing is that the water of the mountain stream is really drinkable! Only the "round trip" is not recommended.
