이곳은 옛날 모래 채굴 장소입니다. 모래층 사이에는 당시의 빠른 퇴적 작용으로 인해 각진 큰 돌들이 간혹 섞여 있습니다. "Gainfarner Dolmitsand"라고도 불리는 이 모래 재료는 과거에 비엔나 노면 전차의 제동용 모래로 사용되었으며, 벽돌 제조 등에도 사용되었습니다.

Bad Vöslau의 쿠어파크는 19세기 마지막 분기에 조성되었으며 스파 방문객을 위한 중앙 산책 및 휴양 구역으로 사용되었습니다. 벤치로 둘러싸인 "야외 무대"로 발전했으며 요제프 2세(1901)와 프란츠 요제프 1세 황제(1913) 기념비와 같은 역사적 기념물로 특징지어졌습니다.
