📷 Today (10.06.2017) I visited Australia on the Harzberg, the kangaroos were just given food.
Refuge with the sun terrace and the wonderful view is awesome.
Then the visit to the anniversary waiting room brightened up the day - wonderful view😎. 😊👍👍👍

Since 2024, the Harzberg shelter has been run by new tenants and there are no longer any kangaroos to visit.

Good inn with a beautiful view. Fruit juices, beer as well as international wines and spirits await thirsty visitors. If you're hungry, there is a large selection of good dishes from down-to-earth cuisine.

Here you can watch the adorable red-necked kangaroos (Bennett wallabies) with their young. Recently 3 male Parma kangaroos have been feeling very comfortable in the enclosure, one of the smallest, almost extinct, kangaroo species with a maximum size of 40 cm, of which there are only a few thousand specimens worldwide. The enclosure is freely accessible on the terrace during the opening times of the shelter!
