The “Goldens Bründl” is a spring that was first mentioned in 1385. According to legend, there is a golden ring at the bottom of the spring. At 358 meters, the Elisabethhöhe is the highest point of the Bisamberg. The Elisabeth Column erected there in 1899 commemorates Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who was murdered in Geneva in 1898. It is reported that she once went on a trip to the Bisamberg and was delighted by the wonderful view.
