The “Goldens Bründl” is a spring that was first mentioned in 1385. According to legend, there is a golden ring at the bottom of the spring. Rudolf von Habsburg is said to have received this from a mermaid. Legend also says that people who have never lied can see the ring at the bottom of the spring.

The Elisabethhöhe on the Bisamberg is a popular destination and offers a magnificent view of the Danube and Korneuburg, as well as the northernmost peaks of the Vienna Woods and the south-west of Vienna. At 358 meters, the Elisabethhöhe is the highest point of the Bisamberg. The Elisabeth Column erected there in 1899 commemorates Empress Elisabeth of Austria, who was murdered in Geneva in 1898. It is reported that she once went on a trip to the Bisamberg and was delighted by the wonderful view.

To find the Bründl you have to look over the inconspicuous wall.
