After the Sonntagstal valley, climb the Falkertscharte ridge before taking the final few meters to the Falkertspitz. From the ridge, you have a magnificent view of the Sonntagstal valley or, on the other side, the Hundsgraben ditch. Soak it up, enjoy.

One of the major transnational long-distance hiking trails in this region is the "ALPE-ADRIA-Trail", which leads from the Großglockner over the Nockberge Mountains to Slovenia and further south of Trieste, then to the Mediterranean Sea. An incredibly beautiful view of the Falkerttal. The way here is quite demanding. Especially the upper part to the saddle is steep and goes over steps and stones
