Nice gravel route. I did this part only by mistake. It's a bit shorter than the version via the cave. Great alternative to the main road (Khor Fakkan->Dubai) even with a road bike. I was riding 28mm road tires. Not ideal, but with a bit of care manageable and significantly better than going uphill through the tunnels on the main road.

Nice mountain road. Minimal traffic. Super-steap ascend from Hamriah, then up and down punchy climbs.

Outstanding landscape that can be circumnavigated on a challenging hike. There is no water supply on the way, drinks should be taken with you.

Beautiful hike from Wukan - approx. 1.5 hours. - through the great mountains with a fantastic view of the valley basin.

Big climb! Paved most of the way, but not towards the summit!

Big road climb! Great on a road bike, but essential if you want to visit the gravel towards the top.

Amazing road across the mountains, stunning landscape, hardly any traffic, mostly perfect tarmac (some works going on to repave). Water and toilets along the way. Many good spots for camping. From South gradients are soft and it's very easy. From north there is a long steep climb.
