A great hike with the countryside and its people. Sturdy footwear is recommended, as it's very wet and slippery in places.

The journey to the Annandale Rainforest by bus or taxi offers magnificent views of residential areas and fascinating landscapes, including mountains, valleys, and plants. At times, you'll pass some steep downhill sections. The roads are sometimes very narrow, but still a pleasure. If you're driving your own car, you shouldn't be afraid of slopes.

Trail shoes are required, could be really slippery after the rain, but still manageable. We did the tour in 2h30m, 75 min each way. It’s going both uphill and downhill in both directions. You need to pay a small entrance fee to the national park, and register yourself before leaving. Two cafeterias with limited food (if any) but plenty of drinks. Bus line 6 passed by just outside. Easy access to the starting point with public transportation.

At 21m, Mt. Carmel Falls is the highest waterfall in Grenada.
