It is better to go up from the Almsee, there you can go through to the Gschirr Sattel and then go down to the Offensee

A rope-secured passage on a steep wall into the magnificent rock panorama in front of the Lahngangsee. Even the alpine cows have to go through here!!

As of 08/2023, the asphalt will be remade and the route is officially closed. You can drive past it, but it's extremely jerky going downhill. I assume that the finest fresh tar should be on it by mid-September. Have fun!

From Ottsdorf it's a good 200 meters up to the top of the pass. There are even three switchbacks to drive through.
