Beautiful forest road, which is much more comfortable than the western MTB route around the Bratschenberg (doesn't go down as far). But: Another sign prohibiting cycling 🙄 A short stretch down to the Hertler Wiese is then a hiking/MTB path.

Coming from Plattenberg, after the rest area, a beautiful meadow path begins at the edge of the forest, then a short section in the forest with strong roots, then a good forest path. At the junction with the summit path, there is a narrow trail with tree obstacles and some muddy areas, the path then ends at the beautiful forest road, which leads comfortably around the summit in a large arc.

The off-road path begins at Goldberg as a gravel road and then develops into a proper MTB path as a meadow/field path. The climb is divided into stages, with flatter sections in between for catching your breath and enjoying the view. At the top at the last house, a flat stretch of road begins - here you can decide: Go straight up to the left in the really steep, rough terrain (difficult part included here) or stay on the road and make the curve via Kürnberg up to the Elisabethwarte.

A beautiful, not too difficult MTB tour. The landscape and gorges are wonderful. You should take a light with you through the tunnels. Some are lit but very dimly. Take part in a Triftsteig via ferrata tour. Be sure to have a head for heights and surefootedness. (Take gloves with you) The rope will give you black hands.

Great section very steep and difficult to drive, especially uphill

The new forest road is an enrichment, so you no longer have to drive over the Braschenberg, which is actually always very slippery and less experienced bikers can get to Schwarzberg more easily. Unfortunately, there is currently a driving ban due to woodwork. But you shouldn't take that too seriously at the weekend.

Awesome that mountain bikers are a welcome guest in Upper Austria.
