A really nice little hill that is easy to reach.

Very nice alternative to the Semmering or for a nice bike tour in combination with the Semmering and the Adlitzgräben. As a starting point for hikes on the Rax, there is often hardly any parking space left at the top... so get up early ;-)!

The Ramssattel connects the Feistritztal with the Schwarzatal in Lower Austria. From Kirchberg it is around 4.5 kilometers and 270 meters in altitude on the saddle, from Gloggnitz it is around eight kilometers and 450 meters in altitude. Both driveways lead up via serpentines. They are comfortable to drive and the road surface is new. Especially steep ramps do not surprise the cyclist. The incline always remains within a comfortable range. Vehicle traffic is not a major problem.
