The trail is currently listed by Komoot as one of "The 20 Top Bike Parks in Upper Austria". That's complete nonsense, of course. Beware!

It's simply not possible to ride uphill. If you like pushing and carrying your bike, this is the place for you. And if you're particularly masochistic, you can lug your e-bike up here. 😉

I can only confirm the difficulty! Right now there is so much foliage on the difficult part of the trail that you can hardly see the stones and roots underneath. Extremely washed out!

Absolutely awesome trail! The first (short) section is a bit more challenging to ride (larger stones + roots). The remaining sections are pure flow trail fun. Great hairpin bends and small jumps. The route was in very good condition.

Be careful with e-MTBs or e-trekking bikes: The Fahrnberg trail is completely washed out in parts, and as a woman you can hardly get the heavy e-MTBs over the rocky and extremely slippery areas! The rest of the tour is a breeze. It is irresponsible to describe the tour as generally “moderately difficult”, a warning notice for the trail is absolutely necessary!

The heavy rain washed out the path and therefore pushing was not a disadvantage in some places

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Warning 📢: Very steep, rooty, and rocky. Steeply sloping terrain directly next to the trail. Be prepared to push your bike a few times, or bring the necessary skills, equipment, and courage! Parts are completely washed out, with slippery patches! Definitely not suitable for trekking bikes or similar! Not suitable for uphill riding.
