Great for practicing hairpin turns

Christian's description is accurate. Access is closed (even for cyclists) after the gravel path, the descent in the upper section is hardly visible (overgrown with grass) and not really rideable, at least for me with a hardtail.

According to the signs, the ascent from Erzherzog Johann Klause is officially prohibited. The upper part is more like S3 (muddy and steep), but can be pushed within 5 minutes if necessary. The lower part is up to the forest path S1-2, sometimes quite slippery on the wooden steps. There are a few trees in the way, but these are easy to climb over.

Coming from Neuhütteneck, there is a very steep, rough descent. A good combination of brakes and balance is required, then you can ride down it easily. Completely unsuitable for touring cyclists.

Great trail, not very difficult

I rode the route from the Hirschbachsattel in the direction of the Aueralm and dismounted voluntarily. The statements that this section of the route is "feasible" quickly tempts one to underestimate the section. Average e-mountain bikers with little trail experience should use the "pushing aid" of their e-bike here, as the steep parts are sometimes very deep and you quickly "tear off". But other than that, it's a really nice piece of scenery here! :-)
