After reading the comments here, I was close to not going up here because of the asphalt. Pretty unfounded, it's easy to go uphill and in my opinion the only problem on the descent is the final climb to the summit (you can only go very slowly and carefully)

The Löcherbergwasen is a recommended resting place. Good cake and snacks

Via Landgasthof Drei Schneeballen in Hofstetten, partly steep 12% and 5km climb via Höhengasthof Biereck (585m above sea level) to the Heidburg Pass (520m above sea level). From Schloßhof, the small single-lane road is car-free!!!! 🚴😃🌲

A tough 12% gradient with no shade and good asphalt. Constantly strenuous. Put yourself through the effort, it's worth it!

From bottom to top about 6.5 km long. The first third was relatively moderate at 4-6%. Then it's between 7-10% until the end of the mountain. Every now and then with smaller, flatter or steeper places but on average around 8%. Asphalt: Fair to poor Slope: Total approx. 7% Length: 6.5 km Traffic: Little to none
