Great hiking trail through the beautiful forest

Very natural forest. Some of the climbs are quite steep, but definitely doable as there are flatter sections in between.

Enjoyable hiking on beautiful paths is guaranteed here. For those interested in technology, there is a lot to see with the pumped storage power station, the pipes and the reservoirs. But nature lovers will also get their money's worth.

On the 774 m high Kahler Pön, the name really says it all. The only lightly forested mountain allows fascinating views in all directions. But you have to cover a few kilometers around the flat summit.

You should definitely visit the large high storage reservoir. There are two more a small pool. For orientation, there is a large radio mast at the viewpoint. From the Berggasthof Waldbölker about 500 m uphill. The radio mast can be seen from afar.

A nice resting place with refreshment from here it is not far to the Graf Stolberg hut
