The Butterfly Trail lives up to its name. Between May and around September, you can see an incredible number of butterflies on this trail.

Anyone afraid of cows should avoid the Zierenberger Kuppe. There are two herds of cows there when walking through the meadows. Apparently, no one here thinks it's necessary to give warning!

This traditional trail runs through the lower part of the Dörnberg Nature Reserve. It impresses with its botanical diversity and magnificent views. In spring, you'll find yellow primroses, in summer a variety of orchids, and in autumn, gentians bloom. Juniper slopes dominate the landscape.

Here there is a nice rest area with a bench and table, protected from the wind on the limestone wall near a bridge over the Diemel.

Great view into the distance and the vicinity is also very tranquil.

Serpentine path coming from Zierenberg and through the natural monument Blaue Steine (volcanic basalt boulder field) leading steeply uphill. The Habichtswaldsteig leads directly past the tower.
