The Fuchsmühle mill near Niedermeiser has a long history, which is explained on an information panel. The buildings have been partially renovated.

Next to the hiking parking lot at the fire station is the Niedermeiser Feuerwehr bus stop, providing good connections to Hofgeismar train station (and other destinations). The circular hiking trails "To the Rosenberg Natural Monument" (1) and "Around the Langenberg" (2) start here. The informative village walk through Niedermeiser also begins here.
