The sandstone ridge lies on the north side of the Holperdorper valley. In some places parts of the sandstone come to the surface and form rock formations that have always attracted people's attention. The name of the rocks suggests ancient places where the gods were worshiped.

A little further along the path, the Duvensteine are a little higher up in the forest. There is interesting information on the information board.

The treetop path is really very nice and stable. The information along the path is also very varied and playful. I was very impressed by the perspective in and to the trees. Perfect for a family outing that can be combined with the castle or park, for example.

You immediately sense that this is a mystical place. The rocks aren't directly on the path, but rather beside it. Take the short detour and climb the "Muttersteine" (Mother Stones). Surefootedness and hiking poles are recommended! The climb is steep.
