A very beautiful mountain with many alpine pastures and a cable car. And that is both a curse and a blessing. The Kampenwand is actually very, very well attended all year round. Sometimes people line up (without exaggerating) hundreds of meters from the train station to the summit. So if you want a bit of peace and quiet and really want to enjoy nature, it is best to start very early or in a little "bad" weather or simply switch to a neighboring peak such as the Gedererwand, Scheibenwand, Bauernwand, etc., all of which are very beautiful mountains and you don't see much until no people and enjoys the same view in complete silence.
