The Laubensteingatterl is a small saddle between the Laubensteinalm and the so-called Eiskeller. Anyone who has struggled up the 300 steep (up to 20%) meters from the Frasdorfer Hüttn has now completed the hardest part. The route continues towards the Trockenbachtal with only a slight hill, but is a little rougher.

Beautiful passage towards Laubenstein with a view of the surrounding mountains. The surrounding caves (Spielberg cave, keyhole cave) are not far. There is also a bench at the gate, which is ideal for a rest.
