In my opinion, this has nothing to do with a trail. Unless you understand trail to mean pushing your bike, then of course it's a highlight ;P. I can't recommend it!!!

Great trail, probably the hardest one around Garmisch. Very good bike handling required in my opinion

I also have mixed feelings about the trail. It wasn't really any fun. However, if you want to go back from the Kuhalm towards Wallgau and don't want to take the detour back via Eschenlohe, that's the only way you have to go. I drove up to the Kuhalm via Eschenlohe and didn't want to go back.

If you drive everything without getting off, you drive really well. Sweeps that can only be done with converted ones. Drops of the higher variety. It's fun... but you also want to have trained a long time beforehand.

Upwards the trail is certified with S4. Rightly so. There are several fallen tree trunks across the path, which is not always easy to spot. From Ri Kuhalm to Walchensee there is a distance of about 1.3km (40min) - and probably only recommended for an outstanding mountain biker. Really sweaty and enriched by an experience.
