The Hoppbruch nature reserve is located in the area of the independent city of Mönchengladbach in North Rhine-Westphalia. The nature reserve is located in the Mönchengladbach district of Giesenkirchen-Nord, east of the core city of Mönchengladbach and south of the core city of Korschenbroich. It stretches between Eiger (a district of Giesenkirchen) in the southwest and the Korschenbroich district of Steinhausen in the southeast along the northwest-flowing Trietbach, which also flows through the area. To the west and north of the area runs the L 31 state road, to the east the L 382 and to the south the B 230. To the northwest extends the 137-hectare Volksgarten-Bungtwald-Elschenbruch nature reserve.

Now in autumn there are still things to marvel at. In the warmer seasons, of course, everything is much more colourful and beautiful.
