Small refuge to take a break, several benches available so something for larger groups too!

There is an alternative on the right turn that leads directly to the west but is not recorded on the maps. I recommend leaving the trial at the crossroads in the last section of the route sharply left to the south and following the trial to the main path.

Ideal combination: steep ascent from Löwenburger Straße, short stop at Dr. Wilhelm Spiritus Hütte and then north on the S1 Trial

A nice trail and path that you can drive with a lot of speed👌🚵♂️

Due to the two tight turns rather S1 with just these two S2 passages. At the end, watch out for hikers on the main path. A great trail, which I like to build at the end of my tours before it goes back to Margarethenhöhe.

The path section is varied, steep and challenging. It is a route to the Rheinsteig.
