Starting point of the mountain bike route in Liessel. This varied route of approximately 17.8 kilometers takes you through beautiful forests and nature reserves with a mix of singletracks, turns, and fast sections. A fun and sporty route for mountain bikers who want to enjoy nature and a challenging ride. 🚵‍♂️🌲

It's fun. With kids' bikes, gravel bikes, CX and XC bikes – as long as it's reasonably agile. (Of course, it also works with long full-suspension bikes – it's just "over-biked".) Perfect "no-hill flow" :-))

During the year, a water tap will be installed at the De Smeltkroes sports park, where there is also a large car park from which the routes for MTB routes, walking routes, cycling routes start, and there is a rest area with a table and benches.

A 19-km route. Well-designed and signposted. A lot of fun. Also suitable for beginners.

The route is 2.2 kilometers long. It is marked with wooden posts with the international MTB sign in green (triangle with 2 circles underneath). The route runs through the part of the Dennendijkse Bossen that lies north of the A67. The forest is planted on sand drifts and heath areas that formed the northernmost part of the former “Groote-Heide von Asten”. The Dennendijkse Forest is a young forest area with some open areas, the so-called bleaching areas. Bleachers were common places where linen was bleached.

Beautiful flowy paths. I thought it was doable on the gravel bike!
