No descent, single track

Actually this is not a descent but a hilly part next to a sandy path. But Vorden is a nice route that consists largely of single tracks and is definitely worth it. If you really want to do descents then the adjacent route Lochem is also recommended

The single track is a good change in the Crown Domain Het Loo which has a wide range of well-maintained paths. It is a playful and winding route with nice differences in height. In the summer, the sand here is loose, which makes the descent a lot more challenging. In the autumn and winter it is wet and you can come across some slippery tree roots here and there, which also makes it fun. If you come from the south, you will get a few tough climbs along the way where you can really test your condition. Please note that this part of the Crown Domain is closed every year from mid-September until Christmas because of the hunt of our royal family.

It is prohibited to cycle freely in the Municipal Forests of Heerde. However, take comfort in the thought that you can cycle around freely in the wider region, such as northeast of the highway in the municipal forests of Zwolle or just southwest of this in the forest areas of Geldersch Landschap. In the forest area of the municipality of Heerde you are only allowed to cycle on official cycle paths and the MTB route.

Nice section to play. It is also suitable for beginners as it does not require jumping.

Excellent crossing to avoid the busier roads in the city by racing bike. Relatively busy on weekends.

The Wechelerveld track can be used as a starting point for various mountain bike routes: Deventer, Heeten and Diepenveen. Plenty of parking, accessible via a dirt road.
