The six-meter-high Oudemirdumerklif formed during the penultimate ice age, when Scandinavian ice sheets pushed up the land, leaving boulders in their wake. The Zuiderzee's wave action ultimately formed three cliffs in Gaasterland. The site is home to some 200 plant species. Badgers and numerous waterfowl also live here.

아름다운 마을 슬로텐을 2016년과 2017년에 방문했습니다! 2022년 저희의 하우스보트 여행 중에 슬로텐을 건너뛰고 다른 곳을 탐험하기로 결정했습니다. 2023년 드디어 다시 슬로텐으로 갔습니다. "키비츠" 분수는 실제로 정말 아름답고, 정교하며, 장관을 이루도록 만들어졌으며, 그 뒤에 숨겨진 이야기도 감동적입니다. 안타깝게도 위치가 그다지 목가적이지는 않습니다. 슬로텐의 "키비츠" 분수는 주차장과 도로로 둘러싸여 있습니다. 슬로텐에는 정말 아름다운 장소들이 많은데, 분수를 다른 곳에 두었으면 좋았을 것입니다.
